Karmann USA was founded in Livonia, Michigan in 1996 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wilhelm Karmann Company.
Karmann USA will be a Full Service Supplier of Convertibles and Niche Vehicles in North America. Our customers will remember us by our innovative solutions, our world-class quality, and our superior relationships.
Karmann USA provides services to many different automotive and transportation customers like General Motors, Ford Motor Company and DaimlerChrysler.
We have moved to a new Technical Center in Plymouth. Our new location is a multi functional facility that will allow an interdisciplinary approach to servicing the Karmann’s North American customers locally, where Engineering, Prototyping, Sales and Marketing are located in one building. The result is to allow Karmann USA to take a lead role in design projects from roof systems to Body In White prototyping.
Karmann USA is rewarded with DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certification.
