Our tooling division produces prototype and series tools for modelling the sheet metals of the body structure and the body shell. Furthermore, our tooling department carries out complex projects: the service may include anything from tool delivery to tuning the bodies-in-white of the vehicles.
Our approach of method planning allows us to define the feasibility and the optimum production process of all tools in advance by simulating all modelling processes with the help of AUTOFORM, PAM-STAMP, OPTRIS.
Making use of the simulation data to create complex surface models in effective surface design is the basis of our mechanical processing. While testing out the tools, the data is constantly compared to optimize the processes. For the processing of the body shell in class-A quality, we employ ICEM-Surf, in order to be able to increase the use of highly solid sheet metals. Also in order to avoid further faults, to increase the standardisation of the components and to achieve a greater flexibilty for changes, we employ a volume-oriented 3-dimensional presentation for our tool design.
Our own cast model department guarantees the shortest production times. A 5-axle CNC portal-milling machine makes exporit models of the virtual tools for the various cast materials employed.
The quality of our work is constantly increased by our cooperation with customers as well as with universities and research institutes working in various fields.
