We, at Karmann, have cultivated a long tradition of quality. This quality is maintained by a systematic quality management which includes all company processes. The central goal of our quality management is to achieve a certain quality not as the outcome of a number of separate tests but to guarantee it as a planned result of quality-relevant processes throughout all the project and production stages. It is of great importance to us, that we continuously orient all processes in the company towards the demands and expectations of our customers.

Karmann's quality management is based on a team-oriented relationship between customer and supplier within the separate chains of process. Another basic principle of ours is to systematically avoid mistakes.

Adequate strategies and methods of quality maintenance are applied at all stages of a project and to every order which we realise from planning and development to production and after-sales service.

Thus, we attain quality of products and services as an integral result, in all fields of the enterprise, and over the complete net product chain.

The Karmann quality management system meets all the requirements of the automotive industry. It includes customer specific demands as well as the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949.
Furthermore, all homologation requirements for vehicles and vehicle components based on national and international regulations of traffic law are fulfilled.
