Development of the functional and add-on parts
|
In the functional parts section, all body and top seals and opening parts are developed integrally. This includes doors and flaps as well as all integrated mechanic components, like window lifters, window regulators and locks.
In the add-on parts section, the conception strictly follows the requirements for the complete vehicle. For an optimal design of seat and storage systems, we carry out regular ergonomics analyses with Ramsis. Our experts develop innovative, convertible-specific airbag solutions like the head-thorax-bag.
Further points of importance are the conception of external add-on parts, such as bumpers, a radiator grille, side protection strips and side member panels, as well as under-body panels and fronts made of steel and aluminium or in hybrid construction.
