Complex projects call for close communication with our clients on the basis of reliable and current information. These requirements are met by precise documentation and efficient data administration.
The establishment and maintenance of parts lists are carried out in the clients' systems. The weight of the vehicle is documented and followed in its course as well as the software readings of the control devices.
We employ ENOVIA VPM for our virtual product development, in which the complete vehicle has to be digitally represented throughout the complete development process. Due to its deep integration into the CAD systems CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 and its capability to manage vehicle structures and configurations, it is the optimal basis for the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) of the vehicle variants to be developed.
Data administration also includes an ensured data exchange with suppliers and clients. According to the guidelines of VDA 4951and 4955, we make use of various systems and interface formats.
Furthermore, all incoming CATIA data undergoes a CATCLEAN and a data quality check with a verification program certified according to VDA4955. Faulty CATIA models are rejected, because a correction of faulty models would mean an unjustifiable additional expenditure for us.
