The integral focus on our customers’ demands is an essential aspect in the daily competition found in the market. We developed the Karmann-Added Value-System to be able to cope with these demands.
This system is seen as integrated production system, which means, in the Karmann-Added Value-System it is not only the areas directly involved in product creation, but also the so-called indirect areas involved in the activities.
The Karmann-Added Value-System is sub-divided into 5 organizational principles in which the individual company specific methods and standards are assigned:
· Management and teamwork
· Synchronous production
· Effective Facility Management
· Quality and robust processes
· Systematic improvement
The standardization and synchronization of processes, the parallel reduction and/or elimination of waste in these processes are fundamental aspects of the Karmann-Added Value-System. A functioning continuous-improvement-process forms the base for these activities.
