The course of production at Karmann is determined by foresighted action. This also holds true for the conservation of the environment and the maintenance of industrial health and safety standards. All technical and organizational activities are ensured by effective measures to protect man and the environment. We are certified according to DIN EN ISO DIN EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), and our employees are actively integrated into these activities with regular qualifications.
We plan our products and production processes as energy saving as possible and we try to use the resources as efficiently as we can. For our employees, we try to obtain the highest possible working safety. We make investments in ecologically harmless, safe technologies following the newest standards. These are the guidelines for our management of environmental conservation and our maintenance of industrial health and safety standards.
An extensive safety system allows us to recognize possible ecological damage or hazard at an early stage so that they can be avoided. We also discuss environmental and safety topics with our customers, our suppliers, different companies and authorities.
