Quick, flexible, just-in-time: Karmann produces innovative tops with the most modern techniques. They are delivered to our clients or used for in-house production.
A central domain in roof production is cutting, HF-welding, upholstery and the assembly of the roof module. A CNC-controlled cutter, which produces exact cuttings to the millimetre is the core of the cutting department. The cuttings are welded to a strain-free, waterproof top trim.
At the moment, Karmann supplies the roof systems for the Audi convertible, the Mercedes-Benz CLK convertible, the Volkswagen New Beetle convertible and the Renault Mégane convertible.
