One of the features of convertible design is its special technical demands which call for appropriate engineering solutions.
Depending on the roof model – top with textile trim, PVC-top or retractable hardtop – we are always designing, developing and producing new and innovative concepts, thus, justifying our status as forerunner in this field of automobile design and construction.
The tasks of the roof development department extend from concept and engineering via simulation and prototyping to testing. Depending on the volume of the order, the delivery of the produced roof modules to the client is also included.
The far-reaching service spectrum covers important aspects such as hydraulic and latch concepts, roll-over protection, sun screens and heat, cold, water and noise protection, simple handling and ergonomic design.
