DMU - For flexibility and process certainty

The DMU (Digital Mock Up) is very important in the process of component release since it allows a comprehensive analysis of the available space by virtual prototype construction. Possible discrepancies can be immediately recognised and, thus, be corrected during the development process.
Profound knowledge and software technologies like Enovia VPM and CATIA V5 stand for a high grade of flexibility and process certainty.
The service spectrum covers construction space- management, static and dynamic collision- analysis, clearance- analysis and installation and removal simulations. The results of the analysis are documented with video animation and with the help of collision databank and simulation reports. Thus, we obtain an analysis of the feasibility and are able to define the assembly order.
Furthermore, DMU enables us to measure the enclosing volume for dynamic parts and the determination of gaps for handling devices.
