Prototypes under series production-like conditions
|
Under joining conditions similar to those in series production, the prototypes are built based on the design & engineering results. Absolute confidentiality is always maintained.
For the body-in-white construction, first all sheet metal parts of the body are manufactured – for the concept cars as well as for the prototypes. Even complete bodies-in-white are manufactured here.
The painted bodies-in-white are built together in the final assembly. The assembly procedures are analysed, planned and managed by our planning/work preparation staff integrating all relevant special departments.
Our quality control verifies and reports the measurement of the body parts, bodies-in-white and complete vehicles, as well as the joints . Afterwards, the complete body-in-white is evaluated in an audit.
