Ergonomics and techniques
|
The package department has the task of defining and verifying the available space and the reference dimensions for the complete vehicle in an interdisciplinary way. Ergonomic, technical and stylistic demands have to be met. Here the driver stands at the central point.
The service spectrum covers four areas: the lay-out creates basic lay-out plans, benchmarks, section folders, gap plans, and package drawings and verifies the meeting of regulations. In ergonomics, the handling, seating and visual comforts are examined, and take over the positioning of the DIN and SAE stencils.
The stylist in charge coordinates the communication between the design studio and the engineering departments. Their goal is to define a fixed design concept, which meets all the technical and ergonomic demands.
The homologation department coordinates and creates type approval and construction-measure drawings at the end.
