On demand, just-in-sequence: Final assembly
|
In the final assembly, vehicles are mass- produced in accordance with the high quality standards of our clients. The extensive knowledge and flexibility lets our employees deal with these demanding tasks in a fast and reliable way.
The vehicle assembly begins with a disassembly: after entering the painted bodies into the assembly line, the doors are removed to simplify the installation of small and bigger assembly groups.
Most of these components – the tops, cockpits, doors and drive units – are produced "on demand" in separate production plants and supplied "just-in-sequence". Our material supply system guarantees an exact supply concerning time and quantity and it is managed autonomously by our employees. Bottlenecks and overcapacities may thus be effectively avoided.
